Aviation Partnership Project II
Strengthening the partnership in aviation between the EU and South Asia

The EU - North Asia Aviation Partnership Project (EU-NA APP), the EU - South Asia Aviation Partnership Project II (EU-SA APP II), and the EU - South East Asia Aviation Partnership Project (EU-SEA APP) jointly with the Co-operative Development of Operational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness – South Asia (COSCAP-SA) and the Co-operative Development of Operational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness – South East Asia (COSCAP-SEA) are pleased to announce the event called Upset Prevention Recovery Training (UPRT) Workshop for Regulators, which will take place in Singapore from 03 to 07 July 2023.

The goal of this course is to provide knowledge, skills, understanding and attitude enabling participants to explain the ICAO provisions and EU regulations applicable to Upset Prevention Recovery Training (UPRT) to enhance the safety of airline operations, including Flight Crew Training in FSTDs, the UPRT requirements for Flight Crew Licensing, and enabling CAA personnel to assist in the development of UPRT regulations.

This session is intended for:

​

• Middle management from CAAs involved in regulatory or technical issues in the OPS and Licensing domains.

• Policy advisors from CAAs involved in policy development or rulemaking for Upset Prevention Recovery Training in the OPS and Licensing domains.

• Inspectors from CAAs involved in safety management and the safety oversight of UPRT in aviation.

 

In the case of the South Asian participants, the EU-SA APP II project will fully sponsor travel, accomodation and meal plan for the following representatives:

• Two representatives from each CAA.

​

Additional representatives might be accepted on a case by case basis and upon agreement of the EU-SA APP II team. Partial sponsorship could be offered in those cases (accomodation and meal plan).

 

We therefore invite you to nominate the most suitable participants for this event who might be interested in this activity.
